Avery Update

3 nights and 4 days at the hospital for our little Avery. She started with a high fever last monday, went to her dr and we were told just a virus, it will run its course. 2 days later (not any better but even worse) I was taking her into the clinic for a case of pink eye, 2 hours later we were being admitted to Providence. She was dx with pneumonia and needed antibiotics and oxygen. They had to give her and IV too because she hadnt eating in days and barely drinking. Long story short she was finally released today, Sunday 1/16. SHE WAS A TROOPER. its been a long week but we have best family (and friends) ever for support! thanks all!

Kids

Colby went to his first SEAHAWKS game! What an amazing experience he had with his dad! Great game and great memories.

You tell Avery to smile and say cheese and you get a cheeser with one eye open! really?

I am a little behind on the blogging bit. we had a great christmas and new year. stay tuned for more.

Snow, Thanksgiving and Preparing for Christmas - All in 1 week!

Snow arrived early in WA this year~ and the kids loved it!

Avery woke up from her nap to find the tree all decorated. She couldnt help herself and was touching ALL the sparkly ornaments, then I caught her kissing one when I told her "no hands".

we did a dress rehearsal a few days before halloween, Avery wasnt liking it!

Well this was Averys first trick or treat, she loved it. Cried when I tried dropping her off back at the house. She would take handfuls when people said to pick! she lasted over and hour!!! Colby is still out with eric and having a blast with Sammy (the neighbor girl!)

The Patch 2010

We had a great day at the pumpkin patch. Its my favorite part of the year! Avery enjoyed her first time picking pumpkins, jumping in hay, getting dirty and best of all the SLIDE at the farm. Happy Fall to ALL. The Cookes~

Late October Update

We didnt think thru the buying the large oversize and overpriced balloons for the kids. we had a release party when we left, there was no way I was bringing them home!

Last day we had some sun and pool time! (at rental)

Avery was ridiculous in this spongebob floaty thing! had to have been there!

Colby met his cousins for the first time, ALL BOYS! Had a blast!

Colby loved seeing all the character. We got himself an autograph book and search for whomever he could to get signatures! :) However he got the book on the last day so didnt get very many! PLUS the lines to see everyone, CRAZY!

If it wasnt a FAST and WILD ride, it was a kid ride according to Colby. He rode ALL big rides with NO FEAR!

Well October is coming to and END. Had a great trip with friends, OUR BABY turned 5 and we are homebound for the FALL and WINTER! ( **disclaimer: updated blog fast so disregard spelling errors and things that may not make sense!)
